Historic Resources

There are no current compliant resources in the project. All resource estimates are Historic. Historic "reserve and resource" estimates by early operators were generally made by polygonal or block estimates based on visual grade estimates on core and underground sampling. Later estimates at the Centennial Mine were based on percussion drill hole assays, underground drift and raise sampling and visual estimates in stopes. The sulfide copper resources were estimated by cross-sectional block modeling. However, none of the estimation methods are NI 43-101-compliant because they were completed prior to 2001, and none of the data can be verified.

All of the "reserves" and "resources" described and documented by previous operators are considered to be "Historic Resources" under NI 43-101, as they were estimated prior to February 1, 2001. The dates and sources of these estimates are available and are included in this report. Behre Dolbear has not undertaken any work necessary to have the historical estimates verified by a Qualified Person. Behre Dolbear is not treating any of the estimates as a current NI 43-101-compliant resource, and the historical estimates should not be relied upon. The properties will require considerable future exploration to convert "Historic Resources" into NI 43-101-compliant resources, which the owner and their consultants intend to carry out in due course.

Of critical importance is that none of the geologic logging, drill hole surveying, drill hole and underground assaying, or any of the metallurgical testing on the chalcocite deposits was verifiable during the Behre Dolbear site visit. In fact, none of the historic data, except for published production records, have been verified. Thus, these "resource estimates" are not relevant or reliable and only qualify under NI 43-101 Technical Report guidelines as "Historic Resources." Furthermore, it should be re-iterated and emphasized that the prior "reserve" estimates do not qualify as reserves under NI 43-101 guidelines and can only be considered as "Historic Resources," which do not have demonstrated economic viability. Table 1.1 summarizes the non-compliant Historic Resource at the Centennial Mine. Table 1.2 summarizes the non-compliant Historic Resource at the Kingston Mine. Table 1.3 summarizes the non-compliant resource estimates at the copper sulfide deposits.
