| Vancouver, B.C. ... Highland Resources Inc. ("Highland") is pleased to announce that Roger Blair has been appointed President and an additional director of the Company. Mr. Blair joins the Board with over ten years experience in managing, financing and developing small to medium sized companies in Canada and the United States. Mr. Blair began his career in investor relations, assuming responsibility for investor and shareholder relations and corporate development, most recently at Rolling Rock Resources (TSX-V: "RLL"). Prior to joining Rolling Rock, he implemented the design and progression of various investor relations departments at Klondex Mines Ltd. and Starcore International Ventures Ltd., two mining companies which are now listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
